Overview

This is a fun-filled interactive walking tour of Greenwich Village's Italian neighborhood. See St. Anthony's Church, Raffetto's Pasta and then stroll MacDougal Street's Caffe Reggio. This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. Your food tour guide gives you an insider's perspective into local history with music, serenades and family tales. Samples and sights subject to change.

Had a great time at Greg Walks NYC. The area itself is charming with lots of great places to nosh- Greg takes you to the best ones. He is very gregarious with lots of great NY stories and history. My 14 year old was on this tour and really liked it- so fun do as couple or with family. I would highly recommend Greg's tour-it was molto bene!

Greg was a lot of fun and looked out for everyone on the tour. We had a mixed group of ability levels, and Greg made stops for discussion that allowed everyone to rest when needed. We tasted an amazing cheese bread wrapped in prosciutto, fresh ravioli, a deep fried cheesy rice ball, and the most amazing potato cheese bread. Lots of wonderful sweets too, including the fruit cannoli. I’d absolutely tour with Greg again! Thanks for a great time!

Just went on Greg’s walking foodie tour of Italian food in Greenwich Village. So much fun! Great has such a fun, upbeat personality and really knows the area. We got to taste many different Italian specialties and hear all about the neighborhood. Gratzi, Greg!
