We enjoyed this experience so much. It was interesting and informative, and the tour guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the church, including all the people involved, the property, and the catacombs. He had such a nice conversational tone and was actually pretty funny, and it seemed like he could answer ANY question that the group threw at him! You could tell he enjoyed doing this. The basilica is absolutely gorgeous. The pace of the tour was just right, and we were welcomed to stay in the catacombs to look around for a bit even after the tour. I highly recommend this.

The Catacombs by Candlelight tour was amazing! Our tour guide was great, too; very knowledgeable. Along with the Catacombs tour, we learned about the history of the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, which was just as great! I'm not a Catholic, but I found everything in this tour very fascinating. Everyone who visits NYC and surrounding areas should go!

I was amazed at the historical significance of this Basilica. I was equally amazed at how knowledgeable our tour guide was. The ladies in the office facilitating the tour arrangements were great as well.
