Our driver Henry was the best you could ask for. He shared a wealth of knowledge and history about Central Park with us. He also took pictures of us.

We booked our carriage ride about a month ahead of time. We received a number of text reminders before hand. We followed the very detailed instructions and watched the video before hand. We met up with our driver in the assigned place without a hitch. Medet was our driver and Cooper was our horse. Medet was great, friendly and informative. He chatted with us the entire time pointing out facts about the park. Really enjoyed our time on the carriage tour. This was a highlight of our trip.

Casper, the horse,and Scott, our driver were excellent. We were disappointed that our Rockefeller tour was cancelled at the last minute and another tour was substituted. Nonetheless, it was a nice ride! Love this company. They are very professional and took good care of us making sure we were warm and cozy with nice blankets.
Nice ride but disappointed at how dark the park is at night

Our carriage ride started at 4:45pm during Christmastime. I planned for this time thinking we would have some daylight to see the park and darkness to see Christmas lights. The driver was very nice and personable and let us get out at Bethesda Terrace to take pictures (the only lit area in the park was under the bridge at Bethesda Terrace). The reason for the 3 star review is that I think the website needs to give more information as we took the “Holiday Central Park VIP Tour with Photo” thinking there would be holiday lights or something to this effect. There was not. The park was pitch black and there are no Christmas lights in the park (except at the restaurant - Tavern on the Green). It was still a nice ride, but disappointing as well. Next time, I will opt for a daytime carriage ride.
