Amazing experience! The pilot gave us great tidbits about the landmarks as we flew over... Seeing the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Freedom Tower, etc from the air is spectacular. Took my flight enthusiast fiance for a birthday present and our entire family (including Dads) were super jealous.

They have to balance the helicopter by weight, so if you're hoping to be seating exactly "next" to your partner, re-adjust your expectations - it's for safety and any helicopter ride you take may do the same thing. I sat directly across from my fiance which was even better because I got to watch his face light up with a smile the whole ride. Huge windows, not a bad seat in the house!

I appreciated our social media paparazzo that was there from HeliNY - he asked for our instagram accounts and offered to send pics of us walking on the helipad. Even better - he actually followed through on the promise and we got a great shot!

Next time, I want to try the night tour or the tour leaving from Linden, NJ. We heard that tour is a great value and often gets cleared to fly even closer to Manhattan!

Wonderful experience. Company is very responsive, and accommodating, as I had planned on proposing on the flight. Staff was great. Everyone wore masks. Helicopter is really nice and feels stable and secure, unlike the tiny ones which get thrown around by the wind.
I do wish they would change their flight plan to fly over the east river and cross over Manhattan north of Central Park and down the Hudson. There is another company which does that.
The photo pre takeoff by the helicopter is very nice. I purchased it. I would suggest to them to have the Brooklyn Bridge in the background rather than the ugly port building - that would have made a huge improvement in the photo memory.

Incredible experience to see Manhattan from a totally new perspective! Expect to be with other passengers, however, we felt very safe with COVID sanitizing protocols. The on-ground staff was very friendly and the pilot was great as well. Highly recommended for both long time residents (like ourselves) and tourists alike.
