Easy to purchase and use the app to get into everything.

Did save a lot of money but check and compare with what you are actually going to use it for a visit. Worth signing up then not buying to then get a discount code sent through!

We did find not everything can be pre-booked using the pass so things like 'edge' and 'top of the rock' we went to during quieter times (i.e. in the evening/early morning).

Great value if you plan ahead

Bought 3 day pass for both myself & my teenage daughter. I planned ahead for what we wanted to use it for and while I haven’t done the math I know we saved money vs paying individually for everything. The app is easy to use & a good source of information. Plus I found some things to do that I normally wouldn’t have thought of. I recommend it but do your research to see if there are enough things included to make it worthwhile for you.

We (3 adults) traveled to NYC for a trip and ordered the 3-day New York Pass (Oct 13-15). We had no issues at all and were able to make the most of the pass.

We visited the following attractions:
Thursday
- Top of the Rock™ Observation Deck
- Rockefeller Center Tour
- Big Bus Hop on Hop off - 1 Day Classic Ticket (Downtown)

Friday
- Statue of Liberty Ferry and Ellis Island Immigration Museum
- 9/11 Memorial & Museum
- THE RIDE

Saturday
- Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
- Empire State Building Observatory
- Marvel & DC Superheroes Tour
- Harbor Lights Cruise by Circle Line

From my calculations, the cost for the 3 of us for all the above attractions would have been $1,334.52 - The cost of the pass for the 3 of us was $654.00 - We appear to have saved $680.52

All of the attractions were not super busy and wait times in line were minimum, during summer or other vacation times this may not be the case.

I would recommend it but make sure you plan your days.

Easy to extract outsized value of longer durations

I’m not big on city passes since they include activities such as walking tours that I don’t typically book or pricing that only make sense during longer stays. I was in NYC for a reasonable duration and activity prices for the city are expensive so the New York Pass was attractive. Paid 315 (350 pricing in September 2022 plus 10% discount with promo code) for 10 days and booked 30 activities which totaled 1279. I would even argue that NYC has the best value out of GoCity’s portfolio.

A couple things to point out
1) The New York Pass list prices that don’t always match the prices on the vendor’s website. Some vendors, especially the small ones, charge sales tax whereas New York Pass doesn’t. Compare directly with each company to make sure the pass works for you.
2) You can’t reserve online for all activities, such as the observatories or bike tours. But sometimes you can reserve in advance on-site like the Empire State Building observatory or Top of the Rock.
3) Most tours are required to be booked in advance.
4) Gratuities are expected. $5 per person for most tours (2-3 hours) , and $10 per person for the longer ones (3+ hours) seemed to be typical.

I found the most value in the non-walking tours and on-site attractions. Walking tours were moderate value. A few activities were simply priced to high to be worth it without a pass like Experience the Ride and Escape Virtually. Of the tours, I especially enjoyed the food on foot tour with Corey, Borough tour with Camilo and Exp1, and all the Unlimited Biking Tours. All the on-site attractions and cruises were great too.

Definitely recommend the New York pass for those interested in family friendly activities on longer stays.
