families such as Meserole and Calyer. The Greenpoint had the reputation of being the working class and immigrant neighbourhood and attracted by the families and workers from abundant factories heavy industries and manufacturing. However, these days local community of bright and fast developing with one of the best food markets, for example, the local grocery shop was the backdrop of the magazine cover for the Harpers Bazaar photoshoot. The Greenpoint Heights is also famous for its nightlife and bars where Polish banquets have transformed in a warm and welcoming bazaar which includes the ping pong, concert of favourite bands and some karaoke.
