What To Expect

Guests enter this beautiful quick service restaurant that contains murals of the Original Catarct House wait staff from the mid-1800's. The menu of this restaurant is inspired by the Cataract House, a popular hotel for southern travelers which stood from 1825-1945 and served as a final spot on the Underground Railroad before freedom seekers crossed into Canada. Guests will sample Dorothy Jean's Fried Chicken, a recipe created by celebrity chef Bobby Anderson as an homage to what guests would find on the Cataract House menu during this time period.
