What To Expect

Little Italy
It is a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan in New York City, once known for its large Italian population. Little Italy’s streets are lined with restaurants serving Italian staples on red-and-white checkered tablecloths.

Chinatown
Home to a dense population of Asian immigrants, Manhattan’s Chinatown is one of NYC's most evocative neighborhoods. Walking its busy, narrow streets reveals surprise after surprise: Chatham Square’s statue of Lin Zexu, a Qing dynasty official who led the fight against Britain’s illegal importation of opium; the odd pagoda-style roof and Buddhist temple; and atmospheric Doyers Street, with its basement bars and a speakeasy among them. Come hungry and work your way through the many dim sum palaces, dumpling dens and inexpensive noodle joints.

West Village
The West Village has been the center of bohemian lifestyle since the early 1900s when it was a favorite of writers like Allen Ginsberg and artists like Diane Arbus. Its nooks and crannies held bookstores and cafes that inspired and delighted the city’s great thinkers.

Washington Square Park
The park is an open space, dominated by the Washington Square Arch at the northern gateway to the park, with a tradition of celebrating nonconformity. The park's fountain area has long been one of the city's popular spots, and many of the local buildings have at one time served as homes and studios for artists.
