A experience for all

A great tour. Will give you an excellent history of not just gospel music but most music in the United States. Our guide was knowledgeable and an great communicator so we learnt a lot. The final part of the tour was a gospel church service which took our breath away. The singing and atmosphere were something everyone should experience.
Fantastic tour.

We took part at this fantastic tour with Russel. He has been very professional and explained us a lot about the history of this picturesque neighborhood. Last but not least the celebration has been exciting and the choir was fantastic.
Gospel and more

Had a great time with Ludy! Our walking tour was interactive and she explained everything with enthusiasm. Very fun and cultural, thanks Ludy for your great work!
Worthwhile but check your expectations regarding the actual gospel choir.

Our guide Donald was very informative and we learned a lot about the beginning of gospel music and also the history of Harlem. We were so pleased we had Donald as our guide again, after having him the previous day on another tour. He is informative and answers all questions.
We didn't realise the service was more for the tourists and were slightly disappointed we weren't worshipping with more locals and listening to a full gospel choir experience. However, we still enjoyed it and the women singers were excellent.
This was too touristic

Very good guide with a lot of knowledge about Harlem. The guide begged for money in the end which was not good. The trip to the church was a disappointment. Only full of tourists. Little singing and no sense of gospel experience. This was too touristic. Afterwards we went to the Red Rooster restaurant, which saved the day. Fantastic place with cool gospel singing and delicious food.
