This tour is about the night view of Manhattan. There is an audio commentary (they supply disposable earbuds). Tour is about an hour long. You get to see quite a few landmarks and neighborhood. It’s excellent for purpose it was designed. We take it every time we are in NYC, just for views.

Had a great tour! very informational. Great to see all the big tourists attractions. Even better when your only in new York for the night. Definitely recommend and I will be brining friends and family on my next vacation.
Tour was NOT as advertised! Very disappointed!

Our tour was supposed to start at 8:30 (pre-booked and paid months in advance) and be 2 hours in length. It was supposed to include the Brooklyn Bridge. Upon arrival at 8:10 we were told next bus would leave at 9:00 so we sat there for an hour (didn’t start until 9:15) and waited. The trip was only an hour, not 2 hours as advertised and paid for! It did NOT include the Brooklyn bridge or any of the other many sights that would be on that full route! What we saw was good, and the crew was very nice. But, it was not what we were told we would get when we booked, not even close, so we were quite disappointed with the tour as a whole.
Frustration, sales pitching but fun at the end

Bus tesm could not scan our tickets. It took half anhour to resolve the problem. We missed original bus. They called support, we called support. It was a mess holding long queues. A guy from their staff was pushing us to cancel the trip and buy an all day hop on - hop off option. Somehow they received a new confirmation number and let us go to the next bus. Fun at the end with drama at the beginning.
Would have been great without the rainstorm

We were walking back to our hotel, the Marriott Marquis, through Times Square after dinner one night during our trip and we weren't ready to head to our rooms yet, but were stuffed from dinner and didn't want food or drinks...we were approached by one of the street team promoting the night tour on the Top View buses and since it was so affordable, we said sure, why not?

The tour was nice to start out with--we were given earphones to plug in to hear the narration. It was really beautiful to see the city all lit up at night and to learn about the different neighborhoods and their history.

About 1/2 way through the tour it just absolutely started pouring down rain--and everyone is sitting on the top open air deck. The bus did pull over and hand out rain ponchos, but it was just raining so hard they did little to help. The second half of the tour was fairly miserable. My glasses were so wet I couldn't see much of anything. Just an absolute mess! I wish they'd just cut the trip short and given us vouchers to use another night.

I understand that they tour company doesn't control the weather. And it was very kind of them to even provide the ponchos, but the entire experience was a waste after the rain started.
