Immerse yourself in the dramatic underworld of New York’s gangland on this fascinating insider’s tour of the Mafia, including stops at authentic, historic local joints for delicious Italian food.

We designed this tour with the help of a retired NYPD Detective born and raised in Little Italy. He helped us to create an experience from a true “insider’s perspective” of the East Village NYC mafia stories.
Growing up witnessing some of New York’s famous families and having consulted for TV and major film productions on both crime and law enforcement, has contributed to develop this unique tour.
Our expert tour guides lead this experience in the East Village & Little Italy, following the footsteps of notorious New York Mobsters!
You will visit notorious Mafia and Crime locations, share true crime stories, and eat amazing food from the neighbourhood

We begin the tour in the East Village, where you will learn the complex origins of the Mafia in New York City, and learn the hierarchies within each crime family from the foot soldiers, to the captains and the ‘Boss’.

Walk in the footsteps of famed mobsters like Lucky Luciano, Joe ‘the boss’ Masseria, John Gotti – the Teflon Don, “Vinny the Chin” and “Crazy Joe” Gallo, as you hear about their lives, and their crimes.

Our guide Jason was excellent and really made a good job of relating the present day NYC to the mafia related history. Good food stops as well. The whole event was a huge success due to Jason's guidance and information.

We enjoyed the tour. It was different from some other walking tours we have taken in that there was a lot of information. Jason clearly knows his stuff and worked hard to share it with us. The headsets were helpful, but even with those there were times we were spread out and it was hard to hear him. The “sit down” at John’s was a highlight as the owner treated us by sharing stories with our group.

If you are unable to be on your feet for three hours I would not recommend. The tour was definitely an insiders story to the life of being a part of the mafia. This was an enjoyable experience and great way to meet people from all over.
