Overview

Experience a New York City sunset from the water on this evening sightseeing sail past many famous waterside landmarks. Step aboard the 80-foot, 2-masted sailboat known as Schooner Adirondack - inspired by the pilot schooners of the 1890s. Sail past One World Trade, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor. This is a very popular tour for date night, entertaining out of town guests and locals alike!

Definitely the perfect way to see the city from the waters of New York. Not only you’ll see the statue with the most beautiful background colours but you’ll see Jersey and Manhattan!

Would be the best cruise if departure time preceded the sunset!

OK - we got lucky! - there was a sunset and clear skies. Very efficient boarding arrangements and friendly captain and crew. Decent red wine was available!
It was unfortunate that the best sunset photos could be taken before the boat sailed. Even a departure 15-20 minutes earlier would have resulted in watching the sunset from the boat rather than the dock!

Highly recommend!!

Second time doing the sunset cruise with a large group and it was just as amazing! I can't recommend this company highly enough. Adam in particular on their sales team is so helpful.

Beautiful Views

This was such a lovely way to start our trip to New York. We had Kiel as the captain and Mac and Kolin assisted him. Beautiful views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the Manhattan skyline were abundant. We were there at an ideal time and Kiel positioned the boat in the perfect place for some great photos; giving everyone a chance to get the sunset with Lady Liberty. The one star drop is because there really isn't any commentary as you go along. Mac and Kolin would answer questions, but they got tied up with a couple of chatty groups so we didn't get a chance to ask our questions. I would recommend this trip to folks; however, would recommend that there be some commentary on the sights we are passing by.
