Fantastic tour by an enthusiastic, knowledgable story-teller!!!
MichaelLeeStallard, 06-12-2022
This was the second of Bruce's three tours I've been on. He's so knowledgeable and fun. I absolutely loved learning about Central Park. This particular tour required a fair amount of walking through beautiful forest-like terrain and stunning gardens, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I appreciate that Bruce is well organized. He brings visual aids that brings the stories he tells to life. He has a bathroom break stop about two-thirds the way through the tour, which I much appreciated.

After taking two of Bruce's tours, I now plan to that the third tour in Brooklyn and I'm hoping he adds more tours!!!
Absolutely fantastic - a day well spent!

Bruce's NYC tours are THE best! I'm born and raised in NYC and am a tour guide at the MET and I always learn many new and fascinating facts, insights, and historical perspectives from Bruce's tours. He also is an amazing tour guide - very engaging, knowledgeable, super passionate about the intersection of American History with the history of NYC (his enthusiasm is infectious!) and he keeps the tour relevant, fun, moving at a good pace, and never boring. I've taken the Washington and Hamilton tour of lower Manhattan this past Spring and it was absolutely fascinating; Bruce pulled back the curtain on landmarks and other places I've been walking or biking past my whole life but never knew the stories behind them. Today I took his Secrets of Central Park tour which was also incredible. It was at once a learning experience, a new adventure, an exploration of beautiful and oft overlooked areas of the Park, and a great way to get in some steps before dinner at Carmines! Thanks so much Bruce!!! Can't wait to take the next tour with you (Brooklyn Bridge and then the other half of Central Park await!)

This was my 3rd tour with Bruce. Each time I bring back more friends because I’m sure they will enjoy his tour as well. He is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable of his subject material. He keeps the tour interesting and keeps a good pace so it moves along well without getting boring. I highly recommend taking a tour with Bruce in your next trip to NYC!
Knowledgable and Passionate!

Bruce is a fantastic tour guide. Not only he is extremely knowledgeable about what he is showing you, but he is very passionate about it. He is able to goe beyond the raw piece of information and make you feel what you are seeing and transport yourself back in time to understand its significance and how it relates to what otherwise will be just part of the scenery.
He is very considerate of everyone who is doing the tour, he managed the group very well and he is always willing to answer any question. I would highly recommend any tour with him. We did this one, the Washington-Hamilton one, and we are planning to do the one in Brooklyn soon. Highly recommended for either visitors who are just passing by New York, or for people, like us, who have been living in NY for a long time.
Great combo of history and beauty

One of the best tours I've ever experienced!

Bruce packed more information into 2 1/2 hours in the most entertaining way.
Well paced and a great balance of appreciating nature along with history.

He went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome, paying particular attention to engage children who might otherwise have not been that interested.

I'm a native New Yorker and saw sights I never knew about.
